The underlying theme of this paper is to explore the various facets power systems data through lens graph signal processing (GSP), laying down foundations Grid-GSP framework. provides an interpretation for spatio-temporal properties voltage phasor measurements, by showing how well-known modeling supports a generative low-pass filter model state variables, namely phasors. Using we formalize empirical observation that measurement lie in low-dimensional subspace and tie their structure generator dynamics. then successfully employed investigate problems pertaining grid sampling interpolation, network inference, detection anomalies compression. Numerical results on large synthetic mimics real-grid Texas, ACTIVSg2000, real-world measurements from ISO-New England verify efficacy applying methods electric data.
